I Love Disney
I am sure you already know my main website is I-Love-Disney.com. I have been running it about 6 years now and boy has it grown! It a very large site filled with my love of Disney. I love Disney so much it has spilled out into several other Disney websites including this one! :o)
I chose the name of the site due to the fact I love Disney. Simple enough. Disney has been a part of my life for as long as I remember. I remember seeing Mickey Mouse cartoons at a very, very small age. There is a cartoon of Mickey and Donald Duck in a camping trailer. Yep, you know the cartoon I am talking about! Classic! I do not think they could ever make a better cartoon! I remember having a View Master type toy that played this short film. Another great cartoon is the one with Mickey Mouse and the ghosts! Memories! I also adore the chipmunks, Chip and Dale! The Christmas cartoon with is the best Christmas cartoon ever!
I grew up in southern California and lived very close to Disneyland, so I was able to visit there often and feed the growning romance between myself and Disney. I once was able to get a tour of the “behind the scenes area” of Disneyland due to the fact I was doing flag raising and lowering, and Olympian greats parades for the Girls Scouts just before the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. I learned a lot of fun things about Disneyland that day. It was so worth getting up early! Between the parades I was able to enjoy the park as well I earned free passto Disneyland for another day so I was able to visit many times for very little money! We have a goal of reaching Disney World in Orland this year. It’s always been a dream of mine so I am really hoping to go soon!
Ok so I love Disneyland and yes it is a big part of it but there is also the Cartoon Characters and their Movies as well as the live action films Disney releases on a regular basis that continue to keep our love stong.. Thank goodness to as I moved away. Two states over in Utah. But still I am always finding a new reason as to why I love Disney. As a young girl I, of coarse, loved Cinderella. As all girls dream about finding their prince and to become the princess it is easy to fall in love with the story & Cinderella. Not to mention the loveable mice, Gus-Gus being my favorite, “Raker her easy cluck cluck” LOL. Lady and the Tramp and the AristoCats were big time favorites. I remember reading books of the stories and now read them to my own daughter! As the years pass my love continues to deepen with Disney as I find new characters to fall in love with from new movies like the Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Toy Story . Seeing them at theaters and Drive-ins to waiting for them to come out on VHS. I bought all the movies I could. Still do they are just DVD’s now my most recent purchases are Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End (Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp need I say more) and My Friends Tigger and Pooh Super Sluths Christmas Movie. There are so many characters to love so little time :o)
I have even hooked my children into my obssession with Disney. My four year old daughter has it bad! She loves several characters deeply already… Lumpy, Princesses (Cinderella the best), Tink. Her newest favorite character is Darby. Her room is done in princesses(bed, sheets, pillows, wall decorations, lamp, toys LOL). Sharing the love I have with my chirldren is priceless to me. I think it brings us closer together as it reminds me about being a child myself…. keeps me young at heart!
Ok as you can see I have a lot of love for Disney and could ramble on for hours and hours about it.
Instead I would rather hear why you love Disney!
So reply below and let us know why you love Disney, your Favorite Disney Character and why or any fun, special Disney inspired story from your life you would like to share!!!!!
What others have said:
the little mermaid because she is half fish and gets to spend her time in the water i love to swim and wish i could spend all my time in the water lol
Mickey Mouse because he is so cute, loveable, and funny, he makes you feel like a kid again
My favorite character is Tinkerbell, she is so pretty and she glows. When I have a baby girl, her room will be decorated with Tinkerbell.
AS A CHILD I ALWAYS GOT TOO STAY UP LATE ON SUNDAY NITE, JUST TOO WATCH DISNEY.. WHAT WONDERFUL MEMORIES I WOULD LOVE TOO SHARE BY MAKING CALENDARS FOR MY GRAND CHILDREN, AGES FROM 18 MO. TO 12 YRS. LOVE THEM ALL AND WOULD LOVE TOO BRING SOME DISNEY SUNSHINE INTO THEIR LIVES. THESE WOULD BE USED FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS.
It brings back wonderful memories of my childhood, and memories of my childrens childhood, I now have a beautiful granddaughter and my daughter and I have introduced her to the wonderful world of Disney and I hope she will love Disney as much as I do.
My Favorite Disney character is Mickey Mouse. I have liked him for as long as I can remember. I am not sure what exactly started my fascination with him but I think it was proably while watching Fantasia and seeing the cool things he did when he stole the Sorcerers Hat and Wand and seeing that Mickey got into trouble like a real kid did. Rose
Eeyore love his personality, love his colour, love his clumsiness and just love the way he shys!!!!!
Pooh is my favorite character because my parents gave him to me when I was 4 and I took him every where. I still have him today and he’s become my sleeping buddy.
My favorite Disney Character is Mickey Mouse because I used to love the Mickey Mouse club and to hear Mickey say “Y” because we like you
My favorite character is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Because she had the courage to stand up for herself and protect herself from the raging beast that ended with a happily ever after story. I cried like a baby with the ending. I love this more together with Cinderella.
Pooh! I have always loved Pooh. But when my beautiful son what born he was round and perfect and had an orange glow (he had no hair but orange peach fuzz - future red head), I took one look at him and knew he was my real life Pooh Bear and that became his “special name” for the next 5 years! Although my second would of course be Mickey because in 1989, that same beautiful son (Mikey) celebrated his 5th birthday at Disney with Mickey! A birthday he will never forget and neither will I! I guess Disney is just part of our lives and will alway be!

I really like Disney because it makes me laugh watching all the cartoons. My favourite characters have to be Winnie the Pooh and Tinkerbell. The reason for this is Tinkerbell is so sweet and Winnie the Pooh is funny when he gets his face stuck in the honey pot! I have many more favourites to.
